Simple Picture Gallery Manager is an old and popular picture gallery. It is mature, small, simple, easy to use, and highly configurable.

SPGM is simple. Galleries are merely directories which contain pictures, sub-galleries (sub-directories), and thumbnails. SPGM does not have a database.

It was originally written by Sylvain Pajot and can still be found on SourceForge, but the original SPGM does not integrate into Mambo or Joomla! and does not have an administrative interface.

Our package integrates SPGM into the front end of Joomla! (there's also a Mambo version), and includes a complete administrative back-end, providing a complete gallery solution in one easy install.
